Introduction

ACOUSTIC HOOD is used in industrial plant environment to facilitate the user to have easy communication in High Noisy Areas. It is used in those areas of the plant where presence of high ambient noise creates difficulties for the user to have comfortable communication. Two variants of Acoustic Hood are available; Acoustic Hood in FRP – Fiber Reinforced Plastic and Acoustic Hood in Aluminum.

Acoustic Hood in FRP
  •  Suitable for both external or internal use
  •  Material: Fiber Reinforced Plastic
  •  Noise reduction up to -14dB.
  •  Suitable for hazardous and non-hazardous arduous areas, Corrosion resistance, Extremely robust and weatherproof
  •  UV resistance for longer service life
  •  Color: YELLOW
  •  Hood Mounting: The hood is suitable for wall or column mounting. It is fixed via two brackets in CRCA, which are secured to hood’s back panel
  •  Telephone mounting insidethe HOOD: Removable type, aluminum (powder coated) plate of 2mm thickness, is provided inside, on inner back wall. The phone is mounted at site on this mounting plate.
  •  Acoustic insulation: Polyurethane acoustic insulation, in plain surface design, fire retardant, thickness 25 mm ~ 50mm, between outer shell & inner shell.
  •  Weight: Approximate weight 25 Kg.
Acoustic Hood in Aluminum
  •  Suitable for both external or internal use Aluminum, powder coating. The outer shell is in aluminum (1.5 mm thick) with powder coat finish and inner shell is perforated, in aluminum (1 mm thick) having the same paint finish. The 35 mm cavity is filled with acoustic insulation.
  •  Noise reduction up to -14dB.
  •  Suitable for hazardous and non-hazardous arduous areas, Corrosion resistance, Extremely robust and weatherproof
  •  Color: YELLOW
  •  Hood Mounting: The hood is suitable for wall or column mounting. It is mounted via aluminum bracket that are provided on four corners of the hood’s back panel
  •  Telephone mounting insidethe HOOD: Removable type, aluminum (powder coated) plate of 2mm thickness, is provided inside, on inner back wall. The phone is mounted at site on this mounting plate.
